Thiago Ximenes

**Professor Thiago Ximenes** is a native of Brazil with over 35 years of experience in martial arts. He started Judo at the age of 4. Professor Ximenes has had the opportunity to compete and travel the world as a world-class elite competitor in the sport of Judo and has medaled at multiple international events, including world championships. In his pursuit to constantly improve and gain more knowledge, he began his journey in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and transferred his Olympic-level competitive mindset to the sport of BJJ. He began training at Alliance São Paulo with Professor Fábio Gurgel.

Professor Ximenes is now a 3rd-degree black belt and owns and operates a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo academy in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona. His academy in Scottsdale offers services for everyone. Non-competitors and competitors alike are welcome. Professor Ximenes is dedicated to sharing his knowledge with others, focusing on details with his students and mentoring children and adults. This helps them with everything from confidence, fitness, and focus to even producing the next generation of elite athletes.

Professor Ximenes is part of the Alliance Jiu Jitsu Association, the most successful in world titles with 14 championships.
